N.J. Construction Risk Company Purchases Turkish Firm

Construction risk management firm Hill International has now owned IMS Proje Yonetimi ve Danismanlik AS. It is a Turkey-based company situated in an Istanbul and around 80 staffs are engaged to provide the Project Management Services for developers across the globe, big ticket investors and retailer groups.

“IMS has always been a delivery-focused company and this is the main factor in our successful track record. The blend of our two companies’ cultures will enhance the value delivered on our projects and will improve our ability to meet our clients’ expectations and requirements,” said Serdar Gucar, president of IMS.

Gucar is now also the vice president and managing director, looks after the operation in Turky for Hill Project Management Group. Bizjournals recently has published this news reported by Jeff Blumenthal.

Although, the financial details of the business were not divulge.

The Chief Executive Officer and President of Hill, David L. Richter feels that the deal will only enhance the project management. It will not only strengthen the project management in Turkey, but for the entire region.

IMS, a company established in 1989, has provided various services in the commercial project site of construction and real estate. The regions where the company has been delivering their trade are Central Asia, Eastern Europe, North Africa as well as the Middle East.

Their most discussed real estate projects are Marlton, N.J.-based Hill (NYSE:HIL), with 4,700 employed professionals in 100 of offices worldwide.
