According to Saleh’s elucidation, the municipality received 25,419 requests to perform structural audits in this year’s first half, which is 20 per cent boost in comparison with 2015.

Assessments are carried out on buildings under construction from time to time, as the technical and structural attributes of the buildings are evaluated. It is clarified by Eng. Abdullah Shezawi, from the engineering supervision section at Dubai Municipality.
He also included in his clarification that as construction at night is forbidden, companies during the summer have to observe the midday break rule from 12.30pm-3pm, and lost time can be compensated by working later into the night.
As per Dubai Municipality’s standard process direction, companies intended to work at night in residential regions have to attain an authorization permit from the municipality prior to the construction.
In accordance with the municipality’s rules and regulations, companies are permissible to complete construction work from 6am-8pm.
